3 Pommes Review

As my daughter grew older I started to look for more sophisticated outfits i.e. ones that came with pants. When I spied this white velour track suit by 3 Pommes I was intrigued. Normally I would not go for white since it’s NSFBO (not safe for blow outs) but I caved just this once. I am glad I did, this rates 4 out of 5 snuggles for softness. The shirt is a long sleeve gray dotted crew neck with a delightful message “Mademoiselle la fée” emboldened across the front.
It washes like a charm, and I have successfully depooped the pants on one occasion thus far. They run a wee bit small but not so much that I would buy the next size up.
I picked up my track suit at the always awesome Ladida you can find them at many other online boutiques as well, anothor of my favorites is Izzy and Ash.

Splendid Review

By now you may sense a theme in my reviews, I’m a softaholic. This makes shopping online interesting due to the lack of tactile interaction. None the less I hit the jackpot when I bought this tunic set in grey by Splendid. I was skeptical it would allow my daughter to move freely but overpowered by sheer cuteness, it found it’s way into my cart.
Let me be the first to tell you, it is soft, adorable on, and allows for movement like you wouldn’t believe. It can be hard to find something for pre-crawlers that is cute and functional. This set fits the bill.
You can pick up splendid at a number of online shops including Ladida and Nordstom, or shop directly on the Splendid website. Amazon also has a Splendid storefront.

Noa Lily Review

When I found out I was pregnant, I did what any sensible mother to be would do..I headed to Bloomingdale’s.
It was there I discovered Noa Lily. They use indescribably soft pima cotton, it was so wonderful knowing my little girl had something that cushy close to her skin. As time progressed we acquired a bevy of Noa Lily items including, burp cloths, blankets, towels and numerous outfits. I can testify to the quality of their entire layette line. The prints are simple and elegant, we have the ducks and the small hearts. They hold up wonderfully and stick in my mind as one of the lines that retains a “like new” quality wash after wash.
They have a few pieces available on their website, and are sold at Bloomingdale’s and Amazon.

Infant Headbands: The search for softness
When I had my daughter I was convinced she would be sporting a matching headband with every outfit…until we actually tried them on. Some are too loose and some are too tight (imagine my horror when I discovered one in particular had branded her head like an unsuspecting calf) some are too itchy and others pose a very real choking hazard. I feared she was destined to be “free balding” at an upcoming friends wedding until I paid a visit to my local boutique and found a miracle. A super soft, elegant, headband from Lotus Springs.
Made from a magical material known as milk jersey this really is the softest thing I have ever felt. Ours is a pale pink color and sports a soft fabric flower.
The snugglefest does not end with headbands either, they have layette and toddler wear. I buy all of my Lotus Springs locally at Bellies & Bottoms Baby Boutique and I have yet to find the headband online for purchase.
